Environmental Protection Agency
Felicitation By The Environmental Protection Agency Ghana
EPA
It was an absolute honour for Earth queens from India, Ghana, Scotland, Burundi, England, Cameroon , Nigeria and the Enef foundation to collaborate with the illustrious Environmental protection Agency Ghana to help Mother Earth heal!
The Environmental Protection Agency is the leading public body for protecting and improving the environment in Ghana. Through its commendable efforts, the agency makes sure that air, land and water are looked after by everyone in today's society, so that tomorrow's generations inherit a cleaner, healthier world.
The agency has more than 30 years of history behind us. EPA has offices across Ghana working on and carrying out Government policy, inspecting and regulating businesses and reacting when there is an emergency such as a pollution incident.
The Eco- Ambassadors expressed their most sincere gratitude to Deputy Executive General services - Dr Christine Asare and the entire EPA family for their treasured thoughtfulness and peerless hospitality!
KETA LAGOON
Official Visit to Keta Lagoon Ghana
Lawrence Tetteh - Protected Area Manager said " The Keta Lagoon is the largest lagoon in Ghana and the most important wetland along the coast of Ghana for waterbirds".
All Earth Queens were warmly welcomed by the Assemblyman in the grandest way possible with some phenomenal and spectacular singing and dance performances by the Keta Natives!
The highlight of the day was the Mangroove plantation done by each queen as a sign of their support to combat climate crisis, world hunger crisis and depleting ground water levels!
